I'm gathering parts for "the last small block". It seems like the project might need a set of SB2.2 heads. I think i remember reading the lifter angles were different for blocks designed for this head? If so what were the angles? And can you get there by boring the lifters in a regular blo...

What Stroke crank for 429/460 Ford?
Like the subject line says. There are 4.3" and 4.5" cranks available. I seem to remember the 4.5 stroke was not considered the best because it pulled the piston out of the bore. Anyone here have any input? It will be a stock block. thanks for the help. I don't know a lot about these engines.

where are you located? what are the rules? SPA turbo used to have a big port counter flow head. I just looked, it was/is a crossflow head.
Techtonics in Oregon knows those heads very well, and they've figured out what parts are junk. Like most of the camshafts.
