In order to get higher primary voltage to the ignition coil, especially at start when the battery voltage drops and also during normal operation, is there any disadvantage or other problem to use a DC voltage converter?

Could it be an advantage to feed the ignition coil directly from the battery even at lower rpm, for example stronger spark?

I'll check how the tachometer is connected, didn't think about it.

To get as high a voltage as possible to the ignition coil, can you connect direct plus to the ignition coil, for example directly after the main switch and only the ignitor to the start key?
The ignition coil shouldn't draw any current unless the ignitor module is activated?

If you have to open the secondary too much, the transfer slots can be made longer. Works well to use a small cutting disc for a Dremmel break off in half and use as a small saw. If you take too much, it's hard to back off.

You should probably have some transfer slot visible on the secondary as well so that the circuit is running.

I understand sad to hear. The previous one was cylinder 4 this one no. 5 both intake valves.

These springs were bought and fitted 5 years ago.

The camshaft is the one included in the Edelbrock Total Power Package 435 HP Small Block Chevy Top-End Engine Kits 2097.
Always run up to operating temperature no traces of condensation pcv system ok.
Other 15 springs all have 130 LBS closed pressure.
This also happened while idling at a red light.

I am the only driver.

Even with the adjustable linkage if you look carefully it is not possible to get absolutely 100% 1 to 1 function. With the roller linkage and a homemade curve at the beginning, you get absolutely 100% 1 to 1 function. It made a big difference for me, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it....
