Re: pings and compression

Thanks for the comments. I've located another Pontiac owner with nearly the identical combination of parts and his runs great. I thought the combo would be fine for premium pump gas. The Qjet expert / engine builder wannabe over there was outright declaring the cam is too small and the root of the p...

Re: 600 HP 350 SBC?

what was the RPM limit for the EMC that year? I see what some have posted here but am sure most are well over that RPM. Stan average HP between 2500 to 6500 RPM to decide the winner. Some specs on the engine. peak HP of 619 at 6500 RPM and torque of 529 at 5000 RPM bore 4.040-inch stroke 3.562-inch...

Re: REC Seminar content'

Does the Torque Master program have inputs for flow values? I thought it was only valve sizes. TorqueMaster takes care of flow by using a typical discharge coefficient curve starting at 0.71 and finishing at 0.6. The 0.71 CD at low lift caters for a well prepped 3 angle 45 degree valve seat. Re: Loss of torque with EFI?

Interesting, if there could be a redo test with 2 different sizes of injectors per cylinder. Then shutdown the larger injector during low RPM.
