Liberty heads look just like all the other china heads. There's a ton of them out there you can use, I would get them bare and add my own parts and get a good valve job done.

I have seen Larry Meaux weld up to an inch onto an intake runner divider. Is there any reason not to use 1/4 aluminum plate and weld that to the dividers instead? Then port and shape it accordingly? I've run the 1090 and 1091 Egin cams before and they both worked great. I think the both have the same duration but one has more lift then the other.
