Re: Porsche 993 twin turbo
You can always get more boost but thermal dynamics come into play. They are very good in stock form. I was a tech at the dealer when these came out. My recommendation would be to leave it alone. High powered ones are known to straighten out the teeth on first gear also happens with hard launches eve...

Re: is Valovoline VR-1 really hurting engines?
On facebook about 3 weeks back, someone did a write up of how VR1 absolutely was the cause of an engine failure. I can't for the life of me remember who wrote it, BUT they were a reputable name. Not some internet troll. I've done a couple searches for it, but I cant find the post. That's why I aske...

Just use a solid on the left side and poly on the right side or even a stock one on the right side.

Re: Stuck Harmonic Balancer
Maybe drill and tap for bolts and then use that style puller? It’s probably junk now anyway. Just thinking out loud. Only place you could do that is on the outer ring and that would only pull the ring off Sounds like a real b__ch. Some heat and I agree smack the end of the puller with a hammer. Als...

Re: PCV and brake booster solution
Even though it’s “working” you are asking for contamination in the booster. Isn’t there a manifold connection you can use? There is not. I could drill and tap one but the manifold will be above atmospheric pressure when under boost. I don’t think 3-4lbs would push passed the PCV valve but it possib...
