Do the rod pins appear to be indexed at even 60 degree intervals? No there 120 degree intervals. They tell me if you flip the crank, cam and rods 180 it runs in reverse rotation. Has anyone here ever balanced one?
Long story, short version is museum piece that had no internals and current parts
have been sourced from all over the country from multiple sources. Some are
used and some had to be made. Thanks

Hi, Short question: for these 2 piece timing chain covers from Comp Cams, you can get the gasket behind the ring which attaches to the block, but no gasket for the cover. Is this supposed to go on without gasket. I have used it before and used RTV on it, but it doesn't hold up to hot oil. There is ...

Curious but has anyone ever installed thin wall bronze liners in a bronze guide. Got a set of heads here that the guides have been profiled and really hate to replace the worn out guides and change the flow characteristics if just doing liners would work. Yes, hundreds upon hundreds if not more. Tom
