When you have to dig deep in the engine to correct these issues- I don't think I'd put CC lifters in if you gave them to me.

Crutching a blowby issue here, 383 TPI- no stock pcv will do. It was worth organizing a group buy.

Re: Cold lash SOHC with rockers.
I know it has been said as a shortcut to set one valve set hot then let engine cool then set the rest of the valves to that cold measurement- setting it hot would drift from the hot beginning to end of job.

Re: Cold lash SOHC with rockers.
How does a cam manufacturer determine the lash- is it the lobe nose design? Factory lash HOT is 0.008in/0.012ex. Which is usually set to 0.007/0.011, other cams are 0.007/0.009, 0.006/0.008

Re: Valve seat fell out
On the net I've seen some strange comments on Indy products. They have had many issues, but for the most part, the heads and block are good. Russ Flagle had a bad reputation on the internet for being a jerk, and not caring. I had an issue with a brand new Indy Ez head, that had a thin spot in the s...

"Although we have successfully used the 22RE in circuit racing and rallying, and truck off-road racing- the only reason these engines were used was because of the race regulations. The handicap is the block configuration- which was built for torque and longevity- meaning slow and heavy. The cyl...

Night and day output- I'm more concentrated on correcting a serious power defficiency- this truck with an auto wouldn't get out of it's own way going up the Rockies- changing to a MT5 was the first step.
