Re: performer plenum divider
I single plane Holley street dominator may fit , plus work better in terms of top end if you or the owner can turn one up.

Re: Quench, or lack there of
Make sure the valves have a break ( rounded edges) from the chamber face to the start of the seat, especially the Exh valve as these can make for detonation.
Don't ask me how I know this!
Also on the Exh side floor of your chamber I see a sharp machine edge left just before the seat incert.

Re: valve lift loss?
If on a 23 degree Head the valve inclination angle was shifted to 21 degrees I don't think you would be able to cut or grind a valve seat back into the chamber!

Re: Pro filer 290 vs Trick flow 280
The trick flows may be 10 CCs smaller , but by there flow numbers they more a good amount more air in the all important .300" to .400" lift range. If you get them and do not have a flow bench to guide your porting rework then I would not touch a thing about them! Getting fat flow numbers d...

Re: Scorpion roller rockers
In regards to a buddy's Pontiac motor using that brand riviera there 1.65 rocker checks in at more like 1.78 and needs a far longer push rod then Harland sharp brand 1.65 rockers that check in at 1.72.

Aluminum heads will expand enough when hot to add .004" to a cold lash setting so when I set mine cold I back out that .004".

Talk to total and see what they say.
Onething for sure I would not run a non plasma Moly face ring like a common cast Hastings but for maybe the serving groove!

Re: Replacing valve springs
I hope we are talking about Titainium valves here because 200 on the seat does not even sound like enough for a 1.60" steel valve at over 8000 rpm if you have aagressive lobe!
