Redvetracr, why don't you stick to keeping your political posts on corvette forum and quit disguising them here as tech questions

One thing on the 1222x, they don't make retainers for 11/32

Re: Dynamic CR Calculator for Dual Profile Cams?
What you are thinking about overlap drawing air in the intake and out the exhaust is beyond the limitations of a simple dynamic compression calculation
Overlap certainly affects cylinder pressure but doesn't change dynamic compression

Re: Road Race Carbureted Ls1 Dry sump
3-4 month hiatus Started mocking up the engine cylinder heads over hang the bore a little, I think I'll notch the stop a little on the intake side I'm degreeing the cam in now, the proform kit for LS engine sucks so I'm going to improvise a little and then return it. After that I'm going to mill the...

Re: LS 862 head porting
Used cathedral heads can be found for a pretty good deal I bought my ported 862 heads for $700, now granted they aren't perfect, the seats were cut for a larger diameter spring and got into the intake on one head just a little, and the valves are upsized to 11/32 valves, which weight around 10g more...
