The valves I have are from ford Motorsports they are titanium with harden seats and were new in the box.

Harden tip intake and exhaust valves
Any of you engine builder are machinist know how much can ground off a hard tip titanium are stainless steel intake/exhaust valves,I’ve heard about .020-025 but that was something a cylinder head machinist told me but I’ve never seen it written as a spec.Thanks

If you want close up those clearances call up linetoline and have there abradable coating installed it will be smoother and wear in the clearance.

Parker Funnelweb ford intake manifold
A friend of mine has got one of those Parker intakes for a 289/302 small block ford and his has to be the baddest intake that makes the most power for that combination.It’s already ported and the exterior is polished and he wants 600.00 for it here’s your chance to make some power.

As long as your not using methanol are any other corrosive fuel JB will stay there I used it on a metering block when I drilled to far in on one and it’s still good to go after about 4 years

WOW what kind of so called machine shops or these that won’t fix a problem in a block I had always thought that’s why you send your stuff to these places but I guess in 2023 if it didn’t come already pre fabricated and ready for assembly where SOL .INCREDIBLE

Did you try reading the Clevite bearing instructions on there sight seems like remember something about the type crankshaft material that different bearings need to be used on also.Like nodular iron the H bearings they recommended not to used on they were mostly use the P bearings but that was somet...

There is extra material on the small end also for balancing the rods weight.

One thing that I know about both those series is the P is a softer bearing shell than the H series and is more forgiving if something happens,It basically won’t dig into the crankshaft and cause more damage (P) the H because it’s a harder shell will add to the crankshaft damage.

And again thanks for the replies I have block and camshaft at a shop right now and I’ve purchased a 55 mm Bullet camshaft that will be going in it .500. lobe using a Babbitt bearing instead of the roller needle set up.
