I have 2 holley 4780, 800 DP holleys, im assuming the base plate is the same as 4779 , 750 DP. You always need your oiler ocilator windshield wipers for better vision the correct muffler bearings to match the better exhaust flow to intake flow ratio of your AFR heads. If you run open headers you wasted extra money on the AFR heads.

The cheapest in cost tool steel lifter ( if there is such a thing ) is the howards, then trend then comp cams trying to make to much money.Being as I will be using extra clearance on the crank and rods with a higher volume pump, was thinking I might do both the edm lifter and groove the lifter bore,...

So I have bought a set of valve springs I want to use with a solid flat tappet cam comp 7228-16 single conical. 1.8 install, 136lb seat, up to 6.15 lift, 438 rate 412 open. So now I'm wanting a tool steel lifter. I see them with different size edm holes from .012 to .016 to. 025 with either a center...

I like the dart Shp Pro comes with 9.04 lifter bores, studed steel caps and the kit with it all in the cost, only problem it uses a bbc cam core. I don't want a solid roller cam in anything unless I was willing to pony up even more money for atleast the cost of bushed roller lifters. So now the SHP ...

Cam's can it be done

Can an iron solid flat tappet cam be made for a sbc that uses the bbc journal and if so can both the 47 and 23 swap be done on it.
