I thought I ran across a program, or spreadsheet at one time that had alot of the common engine part weights. Specifically rings & bearings. I have a project where I need to get an accurate number for the weight of a set of rings (4.125 bore, .043x.043x3mm), but I do not have them in my hand... Ran into that with a set of rod bearings last week too... Am I dreaming or is there a database out there already?
If nothing is available, I have been keeping a record in an excel file (nothing fancy) of the weights going back a few years, so if anyone would like to contribute some data, I would be happy to build on it and in turn share to whomever is interested,
