Block requirements for SB2 heads

Post by ChrisU »

Do the latest SB2 heads require a unique block/lifterbore layout?"

When I did some research on this very question this is what I found.
Intake- same as SBC (41 degrees)
Exhaust- 3 degrees out (44 degrees)
I know I ordered a set of Jesel rockers and they asked me if I was running a std block or SB2.2. The head I have is a new casting and I'm using a std 41 degree lifter layout. Hope this helps..
