I used one on my street car (88' monte carlo) TEAM -G with the 1" casted to the intake and it had some good carb signal. Had to keep taking fuel out, Rich rich rich. I also had a wilson tapered 1" spacer. I had ported the intake, With ported 220cc pro-action heads cast iron heads.( heads to big for this app.used what i had, worked well w/ the spray) A howards solid FT cam, .605 lift w/ 1.6 rocker, 850 QF carb, 411 gears, 12.6's @115 NA with MT drag raidials, Had to tight of a stall 3600ish I drove it on the street alot so I wanted it to lock-up. I think they work well w/ mild, small ci deals. IMO Not much different than a Old style Vic. Jr.

This is going on a car that I drive on the street and run !/8th mile with too.Its a 78 Z/28 383 with 11.1 compression dart 200cc heads ported solid roller cam 253 in 260 ex at 50thousand 598 in lift 625 ex with 1.5 rockers.I have since changed to 1.6.the car has a 4200 stall and 4.56 gear with a 150 shot of nitrous. These cars are heavy and I had to cage it which added more.I have been running a stealth intake to try and keep the torque up to get this thing moving but I really think the nitrous will work better with a single plane intake.Oh yeah the cam is in at 104 center.
