when using titanium connecting rods, how should one set deck clearance? are "Ti" rods more like steel or aluminum rods in this respect?

I personally have never used titanium rods. However, titanium is steel so i will go with the steel rod deck clearance.

Sorry for my ability to think faster than i can type. I'm not a metalurgist, but titanium is strong like steel and has similar qualities that make it an excellent sustitute for steel in alot of applications as you know. That's what i meant though i didn't communicate it correctly. Since it has similar qualities i would assume the quench distance would be the same as steel.
