Edelbrock Performer RPM BBC Heads

Anyone have experience with these heads? Edelbrock Performer RPM Oval Port Heads for BBC

Out of the box
Intake CFM@.700 = 284 bad port / 315 good port
Exhaust CFM@.700 = 243

Big Block Chevy Heads

For my next engine I've got other heads picked out, but for now I'm working with these.

I'm OK with the good port numbers, but the bad ports haven't responded to anything yet. All the short turns are ahhhhh very short - this fact may limit their potential.

Any ideas?

They use these heads on those 502 crate motors.

Fine for low end but wimpy for good strong power across the board.

Depending on the budget and use either you weld in some meat or epoxy some meat into the short side radius!

I know the superstockers are getting better flow with the stock iron heads.
