Custom cam? Valve orientation is different between the 2 heads.

Nobody would build a real "RACING" Iron DUKE with stock rockers and studs;
A hot street engine is all.
Pontiac made many HD parts and High Port heads for that platform, which can still be found used.

We built a timed fuel injected, dry sump, 2.7L "GTP Light" road racer using that platform back in the mid 80's.

I still have one of the experimental street H.O. hydraulic roller cams that Pontiac gave us from back then.
Pontiac gave us a lot of parts; even some stock stuff for that engine, which are long gone.
