1.00 bore x 0.90 stroke, handmade from aluminum billet, with pressed in steel liners.
Not an 'exact' replica, but it did run.

At a bore to stroke ratio of 1.1, it’s only a little smaller then the 1.14 of a real SBC.

There are a couple of clubs in the SF Bay area that specialize in this insanity. Mostly retired machinists and old engineers. I went with a friend to one of their meetings. One guy brought a show-and-tell scale model SOHC V-12 Ferrari that he'd spent 5 years making- it fit in a small suitcase. He fired it up & it ran. Others had scale model SBC blocks & heads for sale. But the hit of that evening was a guy that was hand-making his own scale model spark plugs! "Std" model engine plugs were too large or something....
