Never used there cams but
Inspected the HYD Roller lifters for a customer.
They are very inexpensive.
Have seen axles walk out on other inexpensive HYD Roller lifters
Just be aware, some times its not all about price, would like to see more feed back on Howards products

Some grinds are genuine UltraDyne [from Harold B.] He also did some refinement of some of his original designs that are now being sold by Howards. The real question is what or whos cores are they using. One of the employees who worked for Arrington engines in Martinsville,Va. now works @ Howards. [Custom Cams a div. of Arringtons was for a while the place to get Harolds designs] They also have some VERY GOOD grinding and inspection equpt in-house.

Morel [here in Cleveland,Ohio] builds lifters for MANY camshaft companies. They privite label their names on the tie-bars in black laser etch.

We have some of Harold's designs that came with the purchase of Custom Camshaft Company also a few new ones for some long-time customers of his that we recently made parts for. All the standard part number cams are designed in house.
We buy cores from EPC, Camshaft Machine, Callies, some from Cam Motion and LSM. Odd or prototype cores are often made in house or locally (70mm 9 bearing things and other oddities). I've received samples from a few foreign companies but we are reluctant to use them do to inconsistency in quality. Every cam is ground in house, and Michael (Dacaman) and family did move from Martinsville,Va to work with us at Howards.
