After alot of street and track testing on all three carbs
T/s 65-75
I am seeing correlation between T/s and PVRC jets seem to be similar in size
I have said previously that transfer slot also effects WOT afr but I can't prove it to myself yet :D

I've had a few that I had to trim down a little bit like Steve to get them as lean as I wanted on the street. I think they ended up being in the low .070's or upper .060's

My question is this: is there ever a time to use T slot restictors in a 4150 carb application??
I have a 830annular, 950 hp,850 demon that I modified for transfer slot restrictiors, I found you get more stable afr at low speed driving and smoother acceleration from lower throttle position.
I like clean spark plugs so I keep main jets smaller and run a bit bigger PVRC.
My first carb I done was the 950 hp which gets a bad wrap for being overly rich down low but I have it working pretty good.
My stuff is street engines around 450-500 hp range
AFR -
Idle 14.6-15
Cruise - same
Highway cruise 14.2-14.5
WOT - 12.8-13.2
Vacuum WOT at track 1"vac
Hope this helps
Does 14.6 to 15 AFR give you max vacuum at idle?

383 sbc
178cc cast iron darts
Comp SFT 235-242, 500 lift 106icl-106lsa
Airgap, 950 hp
Made around 430hp
16" at idle
19" at hwy cruise
Swapped to Vic jnr
15" at idle
18-19 at hwy cruise
At the track car responded better with a idle afr of 13-13.2

Each side of the power valve there is a hole , well it's actually two holes ,one of them I think connects to PV Restritors . The other one 'I think' is the low speed jet or something like that, This is the one where It would normaly have a restrictor but there is none , on both front and rear metering blocks ! why is this so .
The carb is an AED 650 HO that I puchased new . 60 MPH cruise @ 3400RPM is way rich 12.0 AFR.
I didn't read this entire thread so it may have already been explained.

Simply because the idle fuel restrictions in those blocks are either up top in the idle fuel angle channel or in the vertical idle fuel channel under the 1/4" plug, (which is on the top of the metering block).
The top one you could see and vertical one you can't.
