Morel 4737 Lifter
I was looking at pictures of the Morel 4737 solid roller lifter for my LS3 based 427 motor. It looks like a solid roller version of the GM LS7 hydraulic roller lifter. If so would that not retro fit into a SBC roller camshaft block or the SHP block?

Re: Morel 4737 Lifter
Bringing this back up, curious why more of the wild street crowd and sportsman racers do not use these. I understand they would be lobe lift limited just like the factory hydraulic rollers are limited in the sbc 880 blocks. But to be able to use factory dog bones, spider, thrust plate. It seems like a no brained.
Are tie bar lifters that much better? Assuming you had a street deal with 880, or dart shp block and no more than .375 or so lobe lift, why don't we hear about these being used more often?
