I can not see any value in trying to buzz that CID motor even up to 7500 thru a stock Intake Manifold, even with a 1050 Dominator Carb it must be pulling over 1 hg of vacuum!

Im sorry not stock intake but stock intake will fit the heads and bolt holes can use any tunnel ram to make the mechanical fuel injection fit.

Can you use an aftermarket or BowTie block? Because if you can, you can use a bigger bore and shorter stroke, unshrouding the valves, reducing friction, and making more power.

For example, a 4.440" bore and a 3.766" stroke (off the shelf stuff) will put you right at 466 cubic inches. That will let you take full advantage of the best head you can legally use.

He, He!!

Or a 4.6" b x 3.5" s = 465" engine! Guys used to fit 3.5" stroked, 409" "W" engine cranks in them years ago.

Imho, the sucker should rpm like a 302", Z-28 engine!!

They can use aftermarket blocks problem is it is for a pulling application and weight is an issue but it has to be iron block. So whats the lightest block for a cast iron bbc aand what is the biggest safe bore you can use. Thanks

Figure out what the strength of the block you need before you pick the lightest that will live
and with your blower keep the cylinder walls thick
loose the ring seal and you loose
is this a different project than the SBC forced induction?

I know I am way late to this thread, but I would be looking for the Merc Marine 502 block. this is a 4.5 bore which with the right crank would give you the RPM you want from a very solid block.
