Experience w/ Rebco Machine piston mods?

Looks like the "smart" choice is probably to have my new flat-top pistons modified for D dishes to lower the CR to stay pump-gas friendly with the smaller chambers of new heads I picked up. Rebco Machine in Kansas has some piston mod videos posted online and can definitely do the work. Any experiences of people on here dealing with them? Thanks, Brad.

At one time everything that came from Patterson Racing was from Rebco. Now it's all done in house.

IMO, begins and ends with Rebco.

big
thats controversial
I always thought yes and seems so with early sbc and bbmopar 915 head with tight quench (maybe plug location)
however on a turbo build with d cup we found quench area was too large and blowing out the fire
think quench vs squish
many modern heads have two or more quench pads

The really great thing about Eric is that he does all these processes without screwing up the ring grooves Some shops are not so good.

Please explain how others might screw up ring grooves.
Other than paying attention what does Rebco do differently to avoid ring land screw ups.

Distorting the grooves by clamping the part too hard, three jaw chucks, or if holding the pistons by an air fixture- too much pressure. If using chucks they should be indicated in and trued up and more jaws than 3 is preferred. How Eric does his must be a secret Dave but I think he fully understands aluminum.

Ok, as expected paying attention to details, good fixturing and being one with the aluminum is all that is required.
I was worried that there was a new thing that needed to be implemented.
