Your not much of a salesman are ya? . Just messing with ya. I am not finding where the dyno info or power numbers are stated....is it somewhere in the thread you linked?

The two day dyno test was planned for many heads tested on same shortblock. We got to test a stock E7 set, A modified RBJ E7 set with Stud RR 1.6, This set of E7's with stock sled rockers and 1.6 rr, and a set of DV modified gt40 aluminum heads. So the only heads that got the timing changed was the RBJ heads. I would have liked more runs to tune and the high lift hydraulic roller cam that these heads were designed for. Hopefully DV is well enough to finish this head shootout. Thanks, Charlie

I see it was a Quick Fuel 750 carb not a 650.

3 sets of heads in 2 days is going to be hard to do and have enough time to learn a ton from without going 24hr shifts. :D
Wouldn't you have to reoptimize cam timing for each set of heads to find conclusive results?

I would assume that will have to take a back seat to his REC entry.

The original schedule was more intense than that. It would have been nice to fiddle with cam degree and spark timing for each head. DV and I had a long discussion on the rec mill on the car ride from N. Carolina to Virginia for the dyno testing. It will be interesting! Thanks, Charlie

To each their own but I can't imagine removing one set of heads for another before finding at the very least best timing....cam position. That is a very basic simple thing to nail down. Am I missing something here? What was the overall objective in this... in that these kind of remedial things were not done....out of time? Im going to assume that I'm missing part of the story..no biggie.

Come to think of it...I just realized I am continually referring to an engine not mentioned in this thread....I did not intentionally try to derail. The download didn't work for me and I still don't see the dyno sheet or power curve listed in the other thread. I will look through it again. My apologies.

I was able to put the dyno sheet up without a link. The plan was 8 sets of sbf heads in two days. Even for long days it was known we would not have time to maximize every combo.

Just think how mixed up we are? That 41 page thread , a dyno sheet and all kinds of plans talked about...

I'll ask again, anything out there with your heads on it ,,running hard that will knock our socks off?

I tried googling your head development ,all I got was that 36 second vid of the Ford on the dyno

No, website has not even been a thought. I have done a bit of work for ST members maybe they will chime in. I have a few projects in the works but nothing I can share. Think of me as you will.. it matters not to me. Thanks, Charlie

Can't think anything of you if there isn't anything to check out. Seeing how you've posted about a hundred pics of your port work, I was thinking there would be something out there making some good power.

Thanks, Dale

When is DV on the dyno that week? He was on the list before but I don't even see his name listed now....

He's doing a SB Ford right?

Probably nothing that would impress you. Just for fun you could post up your EMC Olds 307 dyno vs. this 306 and see how I did. I do love that you guys did up an Olds. Thanks, Charlie
