Best pull from first session vs best pull from new session.

Sorry, yes 110* lsa.
I was looking at lobes and camz for a big block pulling truck engine I'm doing last night when I got home from the dyno.
Too many engines and cams around here lately for me to keep in my memory. LOL
Just looked at the cam card, 110* lsa.

No not at all. It's about where I expected it to be.
I like seeing the TQ up 30-40 Lbs and at a higher rpm.
Should help his et.

It will definitely help his et, what was the mach with the intake on at max lift

Well,.. I didn't figure it up. LOL There is a limit to what can be done on this intake without welding on it.
He's already talkin a 400 + cube engine so it will likely get a different intake then.

It turned out really good.
Ran it on 87 octane fuel and it made 650 LBs of TQ when tuned up and broke in.
He was hoping for 600 LBs but got a bit extra.
Had surprisingly good BSFC#s too. Be interesting to see how it does in the truck.

Had 2 real good productive days on the dyno.
On the dyno all day,... hangin out at a race shop down the road havin some beer flowZ in the evening,.. sittin in the hot tub with beer flowZ at night, dining out,.. HP and racing talk all day.
I think I could get used to that life. LOL

I just finished looking over the data from the 383. I'm really digging the format from ole slo one. Very repeatable smooth engine. Interesting, looks like it liked the 1" spacer better than the 2". DEFINITELY liked the 4500 carb. DEFINITELY liked the smaller header.

It's always interesting to me, to review the data afterwards. Almost always things appear that weren't so evident while the session was taking place. And almost always you have a regret, like another pull you should have made....more rpm, less timing etc. But the sessions seem to be getting more and more productive with less hiccups.

Wish there would have been a little more room to move the cam around...……..

Mark Whiteners carbs run good as usual. Pretty impressive fuel curves....both engines....both carbs.
