1st flow test. These are very similar to what I did in the 90's for the old work truck's 355 that I still drive. Not spectacular but close to Vortec bowtie flows.

With 1st cut on head I started flowing parts of the tpi manifold to determine where the restrictions are. Stock tpi base knocked flow @.5" to 208 cfm, stock tpi tubes added 193 cfm, aftermarket siamese runners 183 cfm all with clay radius.

Ported stock tpi runners bring flow @.5" to 200.5 cfm, ported aftermarket runners 190 cfm. The aftermarket runners are full of restrictive bulges. You will need a good sonic to get a decent shape. Stock tpi runners has very little metal to remove.

After and before tpi plenum. This needs lots of work for the aftermarket throttle body this project will have.

What did the stock head flow?
Stock head with stock base?
Stock head with stock base and stock tubes?

The work looks good.
Somewhat handy with a die grinder.

I knew it would all get some work so I wasted no time flowing stock heads. I doubt they flow much above 200 cfm which seems a bit more than the stock system will flow. Thanks, Charlie

083 ported head 2nd port design, ported stock base, ported aftermarket siamese runners, ported stock plenum and ported aftermarket throttle body on bench. @ .5" lift 195.2 cfm. Pathetic.

Ported stock runners on same setup @ .5" lift 199.2 cfm
This was after quite a bit of work to aftermarket runners. Thanks, Charlie

Do you have a decent single plane and carb you could try on it?
