Yea Joe on the 90 cc chamber, I couldn't understand the 10 to 11 S.C. w/appx. 44 C.I. swept area and a dome with that much area (C.C.'s), now I understand why. Thanks Mark H. BTW I do admire your determination to go for it, wish you success !!!

This is what the casting looks like. Just got it back from the CNC shop. Been there for 5 months and couldn't get around to doing them. I'll try and find a more CNC cylinder head person.

The first picture shows my casting next to an AFR 227 head for size comparison. Note how by going with a zero degree (or 90 degree) intake face and then adding an additional .500" extension to the intake face I was able to make everything fit. This allows for longer valves, taller ports, and a recentering of the valve line in the combustion chamber. The biggest flaw to the SBC head is the 10 degree intake face which limits everything.

Boy that's a chunk of aluminum. Are these for a big displacement engine?

Yes, made for 430 and bigger.
