I've seen Jim Oddy's SBC and 354 Chrysler blown alcohol motors apart and both had Ohio cranks in them, they looked great after two seasons. I mentioned the unfavorable comments on SpeedTalk and he just laughed and said that most all his Pro Mod cars used them as well. I don't have a dog in this fight but I thought a favorable vote from an accomplished racer might help you.
