Bush aluminum rod
Want to know has anyone bushed an aluminum rod, with success? I know it can be done, but will it last in a hi-po environment.

Re: Bush aluminum rod
Yes
Remove bushing and measure the small end of rod ID then call PPPC and get a replacement based on your size requirements.
You need the pin end to be round to start with so if thats not stretched out of shape then get a set of replacements from the
rod manufacture and do them all.

Re: Bush aluminum rod
These rods have never been bushed, need bushings to size for different pins. Never seen aluminum rod bushed before.

I guess why not? There are engines with iron/steel main caps and aluminum blocks and vice-versa..dwilliams wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 12:56 pmYes.
