What is the actual elevation at the dyno shop?
Somewhat handy with a die grinder.

I’ve never done any testing at any kind of altitude........ the dyno shops I’ve tested at have all been at less than 1000ft.

I just wonder if when the motor is getting near the upper end of the powerband, where the VE would naturally be tapering off anyway....... if the lower atmospheric pressure accentuates that tendency.

Perhaps one of the carb guys can talk about whether or not carbs behave “normally” throughout the powerband when the atmospheric pressure starts to get pretty low.
Whether or not something more that just a simple jet change is usually needed.

It could be prh. I talked with cam grinder a bit and he thinks still to rich. Then when big carbs get up on jet just going rich. We did jet down till power dropped so not exactly sure whats going on.
