Or can they be shared?
2.250/1.680

Nice.
Tube on the exhaust?
Somewhat handy with a die grinder.

It was a huge head on a small engine and struggled.
Is that more or less what you would have expected in that type of “racing” format?
It was less. It was a 433. I have a dyno sheet, let me find it. From start to finish in 10 days, LOL. Poor Scott worked his butt off. Old rusty block to complete engine. That alone was pretty amazing.

This struggled buy the numbers on the dyno too, koffels done these heads originally

You were def getting some nice TQ numbers out of the alky.

Then at the upper rpms all that fuel volume starts using up valuable space in the manifold and ports.

14:1 572, 572-13 heads flowing 385, 440-3x intake, 1150 carb, c12 gas......
766tq@5600/918hp@6800.

These were the “cnc365” version heads...... the smaller ones.
This customer didn’t want anything that was high strung or high maintenance.

Very nice power what is the 3x intake?,this engine came out of a mud truck so they wanted huge tq we would be happy with 950 hp but we will see what it does

Indy 440-3X....... it’s the “big” single 4500 intake for use with the bigger cube combo’s.

It’s similarly sized to the B1 manifold.

I don’t see why you couldn’t easily be at that power level with that combo.
However, I’ve never tested a big engine like that, that:
A- has such small ex valves
B- has ex flow that low(220@.800)
C- has ex ports that only flow 48% of the intakes

I’ll be looking forward to hearing the dyno report.
