Richard Katterjohn did a bunch of work on ram air 5 Poncho heads that have the pushrod in the intake port. He made up teardrop pushrod tubes, worth quite a few cfm.

Yes, they do look trick.
IIRC, back when valves, valve springs, rod bearings and oils were not as good as they are today, and pistons were heavier, the tunnel ports started making power about the RPM when all of the above began to fail.

FE tunnel port heads and a tunnel wedge intake. A local guy brought over a set of original heads which I put on the bench. IIRC they made 306 at .600 without the intake.
Kinda shows how far we’ve come since the 60s.

BES did a set, Tony opted to move the pushrod out of the port.

Are you asking if Ford had RAV Pontiac heads? What are you asking? Why would someone modify Pontiac Ram Air 5 heads 'for Ford'? You've lost me with this one lol. What made you ask that? I don't understand the line of thinking to ask 'For Ford?' about Pontiac heads.

The reference wasn't about cross dressing. Both the TP Ford and RA-V Pontiac had pushrods in the intake runners. The TP Ford had the tubes in the intake, the Pontiac had them in the heads.

I made some of those pushrod airfoil for RA V in the past.
A guy that posts here tjs (sp?) is very knowledgeable on them.
(Maybe they are his)

Epoxy fill the floors and the flow will come up to the 370-380 cfm range with the stock size valve. The tunnel wedge intake was for wedge heads, and the tunnel port had its own intake as shown. Joe-JDC
