am i at the level where i could use bigger heads ?
I'm using the AFR 335 CNC head in out of the box form.
Motor is my 555 with 12.9 CR, Weiand tunnel ram with two holley 750's
Cam is a solid roller Erson 280 / 288 @ .050 .765 / .730 112 LSA
I'm confident its making around 850 hp.
Last weekend i installed 1.8 rockers on the intake valves and results where tough to say if it helped. I doubt it.
The motor likes to go to about 7100 - 7200 rpm.

Re: BBC cylinder head question
X2.
Those 335 cc heads need to be flowing atleast 400 cfm so a they need a 2.300" valve if they don't have such and porting is needed.
It may pay yo just swap to a AFR 345 cc head ?
Now that I think about the Brodix 345 extra flows over 400 out of the box and has the 2.300" Intake.

You can cut a man's tongue from his mouth, but that does not mean he’s a liar, it just shows that you fear the truth he might speak about you!

Foxwell has a program for those i believe to go to 350-ish cc and flow near 450
