Yes, small solid roller
Walk in the park. 500 tq is more of a challenge than the 500 horsies but neither should be much trouble at all for something with some effort thrown at it. There are out of the box heads that could get that done. I have a suspicion you are intentionally understating your goals because of the TPI///understandable but dynoed with single 4.//solid roller 379 with ported heads and manifold////570 plus or its broken.
It won't make 570 on the dyno I use. The 385, two weeks ago with a 253/260 and true 91 made 547hp. Which on that dyno was 25+ more than other engines of equal size.

BUT, down the street it would have! :)

If it's not low, that engine is a pooch! :)

Many of the fast Chevy Super Stock cylinder heads have been ported and epoxied into an oval intake port.
The first Heads-Up, Dave Layer, cylinder heads I took a look at in the early 1980's, had oval port heads and the car was a record holder in its class.
Every Super Stock head that I do is oval and raised. That is why I wanted to try it on this.

However these flow way too much air to be this small and oval, IMO.

Do the 2 ports sound different. Does the faster oval sound smoother

I thought the biggest reason you would epoxy the floor and make oval. Is to help the ST handle the higher air speed and not seperate/ back up

Correct me if I’m wrong

Chad
What 'short turn height' did you end up with?
Thanks

It's a street car, I would never race it.
Why not bragging rights or just some personal satisfaction?
I would, just a couple passes.

Is that the same height as all your profiler 23 degree heads ?

It's possible, but I haven't even thought about it.

No, I have one at .930 and none are over 1.050. I have a few that are canted as well.

I did decide to use a set of my 205cc CNC heads, and this manifold. Going to build a plenum box and use my billet TPiS 58mm.

I am guessing something along these lines? I have never flowed anything like this. I know there are manufactured elbows with turning veins to help even the flow through the turn. I can see it working well on a boosted application but may have uneven flow on na. I am interested in what you come up with.

I'm going to have something like this made. And an idea of the manifold.
