Final Score For The Race Engine Challenge

Post by Gregory »

Thursday's scores:
Sam Tech, SB2, 403 cu in, Peak HP 787.9, Score 1651.1
Eric Roycroft, LS3, 370 cu in, Peak HP 749.8, Score 1658.2
Greg Brown, Hemi SBF, 412 cu in, Peak HP, Score 1598.4

As you can see the play off on Friday was between Sam Tech and Eric and Eric held the lead on Friday with a final score of 1641.2 to Sam's 1636.4.
I need to clarify a previous post when it was said "the dyno ECU glitch". It was an engine ECU that is in the dyno room that was to be used by two
different engines - Darrick Vaseleniuck's SB2 and Dale Robinson's Olds. It is worth noting that Dale was able to make one pull (three pulls are
required) before the ECU went out that had a score of 1572 with peak HP of 739.7 that would have been a second place finish in the inline class.

That is below the 3 numbers you just posted so what class is the above post and who won what class and how did others place in their class respectively?

The reference to the Olds is for the Inline Class. Eric Roycroft surprisingly won with an In-line engine.
