Combo Tech Seminar?

Post by GARY C »

I see several people doing seminars that have to do with one small aspect of an engine (mostly cylinder head intake ports) so it made me wonder what it would be worth to do an actual engine build, dyno, on track with car seminar to help guys understand that the entire combo is more critical than the intake port and you can save a lot of money if you will budget the entire combo as oppose to just part of it...?

This is a great idea. I think it might be difficult to get enough time to go into the detail that is needed to be beneficial. Most people think of a seminar as being a couple of days. That is a lot of information and would take some time.

True it would be very difficult to organize and would probably have to be a week long and very well thought out.

But much of the work can be calculated using engine simulation programs. That would be much faster and cheaper and perhaps provide even more useful information.

That was kind of along the lines of what I was thinking but the more I think about it the more difficult it becomes.
