can anyone recommend a machine shop in Southern California that align hones, bores, & hones HOT (ie: 180° F) AND uses a profilometer as an integral part of their cylinder honing process to arrive at customer bore finish objectives?? 4-cylinder cast iron Ford Racing block and bores; block configured for freeze plug cooling. customer has torque plate. the last block was done in the mid-west and that's now seems too far away ..........

x2 Used QMP many times, knew Brad back when he was getting started in North Hills
No they arent cheap, dont bring a budget build there.
WCCH is always a good bet for heads, heard Waynes in Riverside is pretty decent havent used him yet
Met a guy from Menifee who has a shop but dont trust anyone who has to talk chit about others to make themselves look good. Machinists are a funny breed.

Also, Brad at QMP updated all his honing equipment to the latest tech about 4 months ago.

Schaver racing engines in Torrance may have what you want as well.
