Get David Vizard's BBC book. He test various rockers for lift. Large lift variations between brands & types of rockers.

Opinions will differ but I go for minimum sweep, which geometrically is the same as 'mid lift'. If I wanted the slight additional lift that might be available at the expense of excessive sweep, I'd have specced a different cam.
