Do these need to be welded once they are set correctly?

On SBC's, Isky and JoMar have given no problems without welding.

Same no problem with either brand on sbc, I like the jomar 3 piece but not been able to find them in stock.

I weld and number them so at refresh time they can be removed for proper cleaning and then they'll go back in with the spacing exactly as you first set them.

These are the supplied guide plates that came with my SBF Promaxx heads. I have no idea who made them as they are completely unmarked
