The way that I found it:
I assumed that you commented in it and looked at your profile posting history. The partial title matched. I then went to the originating post.

In general, before assuming anything nefarious try this out. Sometimes threads are deleted but I believe this propagates backwards through your posting history (and that of other participants in the thread).

Re: what happened to race engine thread????
I was wondering the same thing. I suspect someone one tagged it but that's just a cynical guess. But like you said, there wasn't any solicitation and the discussion was good.
Re: what happened to race engine thread????
I suspect it may have been speierracings decision to move////only thing that makes sense but who knows///we have the cowan thread still / I found a lot of other posted dyno threads over the weekend///23 degree///ill chew on them for awhile

A great feature on Speed-Talk is the "Active Topics" link, in the upper left. It'll give you a list of all the topics that have been recently posted, or commented on.
The Speier Racing Heads thread was moved to his vendor forum, because that's where threads about Vendor's products belong. It's still readable by everyone.

Re: what happened to race engine thread????
the math error was pointed out by me///it is stated 2.3 average 5.4 long 205cc///this port has 2.3 minimus 2.78 throat 2.9 entry along with a stated even more area over the apex///how is that 2.3 average then was the question////it is not 205 or stated dimensions are wrong///also it has been established that being much bigger than 205 is not a crime //and also to get technical red and black is a good color combo

205 CNC vs 195cc AS-CAST
The CNC is what I say it is, pours what I say.
205cc has a 8cc floor wing as well.
opening:
2.90 CNC 2.90 as-cast
2.30 CNC choke 2.20 as-cast
2.85 CNC apex 2.75 as-cast
2.78 CNC throat 2.70 as-cast

Re: what happened to race engine thread????
Can I ask hold the throat was measured / calculated? Was the valve stem area removed?

as-cast has a 1.860 throatStan Weiss wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 11:19 am Can I ask hold the throat was measured / calculated? Was the valve stem area removed?
Stan
CNC has a 1.880 throat
I didn't deduct for stem
Basically both are set at 91.5% with stem.
Re: what happened to race engine thread????
2.9+2.3+2.85+2.78=10.83/4=2.71SpeierRacingHeads wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 11:16 am 2.90 CNC 2.90 as-cast

2.78 CNC throat 2.70 as-cast
Now this obviously isn't taking in consideration any area's in between these points///but if none of the area in between goes below 2.3////how do you end up with 2.3 average?///what am I missing?///Weiss? can you math this for us to see?//interpolate between points possibly?/

I don't know about the other 3 number you are using as I have not asked about them. But I have about the throat and the 2.78 throat is without the valve stem area removed. Yet you keep using that number. GIGOElroy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 12:17 pm2.9+2.3+2.85+2.78=10.83/4=2.71SpeierRacingHeads wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 11:16 am 2.90 CNC 2.90 as-cast
