Chrysler 360 Connecting Rod ??s
Anybody run into Chrysler 360 bushed, press fit connecting rods?? I'm working on a mid 70?s 360 that had press fit pistons with what appears to be a steel bushing in the piston end of the connecting rod. 30 years in the engine game and this is a first. For what its worth the interference fit is not great so I'm gonna have the customer find a different set of rods to use.

With good wrist pins running about $150 a set your already 1/3rd of the way to a new set of Rods !

Those 360"s are strange, in that some are press fit and some are bushed and once I saw one with press fit in a bushed rod. However, we've never seen a steel bushed rod.Hrdlx62 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 12:16 pm Anybody run into Chrysler 360 bushed, press fit connecting rods?? Is this a stock or mild performance build? If you can't find any locally, we might be able to find a set.

Leave it to Dodge . We'll try and scrounge up a set around here, shouldn't be too hard to find. Thanks for the offer Packard.
