Super Sucker
Has any body ever ran a super sucker on say a typical 406 sbc around 500-550 hp and seen any track difference? On a dyno will it make a flatter torque curve? Or more ET consistancy too.

Re: Super Sucker
i have track tested alot of spacers,SBC 430-480 hp levels.
airgaps,victor juniors,super vics,
tapered and shear plates,open 1''-2''
super suckers etc.
can not give you any concrete evidence.
the one thing i noticed is the transition of bottom super sucker to runner opening needs to be considered in my opinion, that when i think you may find some thing.
my testing on flow bench shows most intakes need work as in cfm drop.

They seem to work when conditions of too big a Carb is being run, or the Manifold has too large a Plenum volume, but as posted above nothing is carved fully in stone and good old imperial testing will always be the final word for any motor combo.
