any comments on bypassing the junk chineze made oil cooler lines ,street driven trk.thanks 2002 2500 trk in northeast

Not a problem during the Winter months, and maybe not all year long depending on what it carries around for a load on average.

Change the small adapter plate that bolts above the filter to one from any truck or camaro-bird that doesn’t have it if I remember correctly.

Get a couple hydraulic lines made up with thread in adapters to the block. Years of trouble free service vs the gm crap.
