Car site?

Post by pdq67 »

I know, but I will probably get a quicker response here.

Isn't there a car site called, "Chevy Tech"???

That had places for all the different year cars in it? As well as for P/U's...

Where is it at?

And thanks for any help.

cv67,

Thanks for being concerned.

I have a 496 in my '67 Camaro that hasn't been lit off yet so it may still be a while. I put it together back about '02 or so, my Mom died and I lost interest in my car is all. My car looks at me and I hear, "When are you going to drive me?"..

But I will drive it once again before I die and I am almost 73 years old.

Back to my little engine, I need to pick one of my two 400 blocks, bore it .030" over and then put it together is all. (I.e., 2-bolt vs 4-bolt blocks here)..

Of course I now lack a set of gaskets and thin shims as well as an oil pump, shaft and pickup, and a water pump. Oh, also a decent set of 4-tube, long, headers. And I will be ready to put it together. I also want a steel flywheel, new PP/CP/TOB and a scatter shield since I will be rpm'ing her.

Oh, forgot, send everything off to be dynamically balanced.

Also, I want to have a stock type, "Marina Blue", with a white, "Bumblebee", stripe paint job on her to be done with it.
