Right up my alley, Id love this. Wont be doing anything with a busted back though .Watching opps pass by-
Hope you find the right guy.
Your back is actually broken?
Well I am only two months out of spinal surgery (and just starting to walk like a human again) and would apply in a heart beat if it was near me and my wife.

What type of surgery was it? Fusing? Disc Trimming?
A friend had the trimming done and it changed his life for the better.

Full fusion. They went through my belly to do most of it, then my back to wrap it up. Just two more months of therapy and I will be a normal person again.

As far as this job posting, if it is with the group that I think, it would be fun to be on the inside. I worked for Toyota at their proving grounds and that was an experience. But to get into this side of Toyota, a side not as driven by Japan would be much cooler.

Its one of those jobs that after a year of it you'd be wanting out, there is a reason there is the opening. Not fun having a cog in the wheel type job.

It is also a job that likely reimburses for tuition and encourages advancement.

Working in that environment as a spectator to testing alone would expose one to data that very few will ever see.

Also expose them to professional development practices.

That is a lot better career trajectory than working at a motor-mart or engine builder.
