I am posting this if it helps anybody that has a Dynomite Engine Dyno. I have an older 13 inch Land and Sea Dynomite, and my speed sensor failed, and I could not locate a replacement. I updated my software when I set it up using Performance Trends stuff. They sold me a generic speed sensor and I built the pictured tone wheel and bracket. I attached the bracket where the old speed sensor screwed in, it is a 9/16 fine thread hole. And machined the tone wheel to attach where the output shaft bolt is installed. Tone wheel has a small magnet glued into a hole with epoxy. The RPM reading is rock solid, much more steady than with the old sensor. It even reads when I am cranking the engine to start, which the old one just bounced around. I have not did a pull yet, just blipped the throttle a few times.
