So are there any thoughts on modifying an aluminium inlet manifold (specifically replacing the plenum on a wrx) by brazing?
I think the runners are an ok size but too long and shortening them makes a large plenum (or two) necessary, and I don't have an aluminium capable tig. I do have an oxy and a blowtorch though and that durafix video looks mighty tempting...

I tried that stuff several times, It works poorly on castings.
