The valeo will be fine. U dont need the helix with an 1800 even a hot one.
On the hot street cars I've built I run either oem valeo or fitchtel and sachs with extra straps on the pressure plate to stop it buckling when down shifting at high rpm. You wont have slip issues with an oem valeo and factory balance has always been spot on.
