Do not bother with 660's. Start with 750 HP carbs. Holley or Proform/Quick Fuel. Get a real racing converter 9" 5000 stall.

For 2 carbs with E85 have them built with annular boosters, atomization will be better so a little less heat is needed.

What are you basing your shift points on? As a 434 I would think peak will be less than 7000, and it will be way down on power at 8200.
12.5 is E85/race gas compression, regardless of what cam you use.
Stall speed is your friend, think 1500 to 2000 between stall and shift point/trap RPM.
I compared a tunnel ram with Holly 950UXP carbs against my ported Super Victor 4500 and a 1050UXP and the peak numbers were the same, the nod going to the single plane with more area under the curve. Your results may vary.

If you really want the power band to be up that high
you will want to cam it way up. The Victor Ram manifold really likes to rev up, if you really want it to work. And go fast(er) by that.

F Bird long time no hear from you. I'm looking at about a 296 304 long duration
I just got offered up a matching package, a big weiand tunnel ram with a set of Rupert E85 1250 split dominators and a Rupert top to match the carbs? Is there any pitfalls or difficulties to be concerned about with that setup. Are they fairly easy to tune or does it take someone with contacts in the dark arts community?
The package come off at 10,000 RPM 302 rail dragster.

No experience with that specific.. Plan on dyno testing it to get it dialed in on your sbc. It will run fine with your cam .. But to get the max perf out of it will want a bigger racing cam and plenty rpm. The sbc racing tunnel rams really like to buzz.

Flow test heads, intake, carbs and air cleaners assembled on the bench. It is a bunch of work but will tell you alot. I owe you a call too.

For a street deal consider my 2x4 carb on a 2x4 to 1x4 carb adapter scheme on say your existing strip dominator.
It will GLH and yet drive easy with 2 Edelbrock 750 or 800cfm carbs.
Make the adapter fair tall for a good transition.
Will still be net a bit shorter than a T Ram.
Fraction of the price. All the Two-Four ROAR and GO-GO.
Easy street cruising on the rear primaries. Eddy progressive linkage. These carbs can be converted to E85 if you want.

When did George start building E85 carbs? I actually asked him about doing some about 2 years ago and he said he didn't fool with that stuff at all.

George May have been having a memory lapse but these are quite a few years old. I may still yet go different direction but the setup was so cheap I couldn't pass it up

Reason being is to determine if the manifold's runners CSA is big enough to keep up with larger port heads.
