Any info on this new type twin barrel 4 venturi carb? Couldn't find much on it other than Summit sells them.

If an old 950 Holley works, this must work better :)

Looks like the blp carb that they have been making for years.

These carbs use my patented designs (main section, 2-piece fuel bowls, upper fuel jets). Very good carburetors!

Your stuff is top notch. I have one of your older Dominators and it just blows an out of the box Holley Dominator away on the dyno and the track. Great parts and service.

Well that explains that. Thanks for jumping in and informing us.

Never heard of Decker Machine before this, but they're not the only people building Mike's Twin Blade carb design. The proprietary parts are available from PMRD, and it looks like BLP is often used as a source for the peripheral stuff.

Other carb builders who have been doing Twin Blades include (but are not necessarily limited to):
- Lightning Racing Carbs (Mark Whitener)
- Book Racing Enterprise (Bob Book)
- Devane Carburetors (Robbie Devane)
- Get'm Garage (looks like Mike Laws isn't there any more)

BLP no longer offers this design since Mike Laws left there and took it with him.

I have no affiliation or financial connection with any of the above companies. However, I wanted to add some more info, since some folks aren't aware of this design.

Thanks Brad, you are correct. PMRD and Decker Machine are licensed manufacturers. Get'm Garage currently has permission to manufacture the patented parts for a period of time to be determined by the Orange County, FL courts very soon.

Anyone ever try to make a 6V carb? Like a 4v with two more attached? Not a 3 deuce type set up but 1 big 6V in a slightly bigger than a 4150 style package?
I would think you could get the blades small enough to perform well at low speeds and still have the benefits of more CFM. Maybe more so with a progressive linkage.

Haven't seen a 6-barrel like you're describing. A few years back, a customer commissioned me to build a billet inline carb for his 5.3 bore space TS engine, using oval blades. We got some preliminary drawings done and it looked pretty wild. The funding dried up so the project stopped, but I always wonder how it would have run.

Thanks Mike for the info on that carb! Is it a race only type carb or could it work on a street type setup? Noticed the particular one had no primary PV.
